Orientation & Advising Options

MCC'sThunderbirdOrientation &Registration is required of all new-to-college students (including former Dual Enrollment students) and a fun way to learn about campus resources, student life, and more!

Attending this interactive session will help you build a solid foundation of student success and acclimate you to the campus community.

Students who attend must have already completed the应用程序和放置过程before registering for orientation.

Welcome, Future Thunderbirds to T.H.O.R. (Thunderbird Orientation and Registration).

The goal of T.H.O.R. is to prepare you to start your educational journey on the right foot.

To accomplish this you will need to make sure a few things are done to ensure you are truly prepared.

• You must have completed the application process and submitted a valid ID.
• You must have a form ofplacement on file(GPA. ACT, SAT, ACCUPLACER, or EdReady). This will ensure you are able to schedule classes. Once this is on file a Preadvisement schedule will be sent to your school email outlining your first semester courses within your program map.
• You must complete the T.H.O.R orientation in its entirety to receive a certification of completion.

MCC has two options available for you to experience THOR. You can complete the THOR orientationOnline(on your own time)or you can complete aIn-Person(scheduled time)orientation session.

Orientation & Registration

Orientation is offered to students in two modalities (Virtual) & (In-Person). Please choose the modality that best suits your schedule. You do not need to register for both modalities.
